Chthonic Lit and Salt & Citrus Zine
Salt & Citrus Zine was a bimonthly free online zine that invited creators to submit work in whatever state it existed.
As Salt & Citrus shifts to a new chapter, I am thrilled to introduce Chthonic Lit, an extension of the vision that started in 2021. Where S&C was about process and experimentation and published primarily poetry, CL focuses on darker, more atmospheric short stories—pieces that explore the unknown, the eerie, and the haunting spaces between life and death, light and shadow.
I taught myself how to design and launch a website, navigate InDesign, market effectively on Instagram, and curate every aspect of a zine from scratch.
This has become my favourite project that is closest to my heart and I would love to explore more curatorial and editing work in the future. It is such a special opportunity to be able to connect other creatives and create a community that is so inspiring.
